Mit Bestürzung und großer Traurigkeit haben wir vom Tod Ottos am 30.04.2017 erfahren.
Er war, als Mitbegründer des DTC e.V., unser Freund, Wegbegleiter und ein sehr engagierter Bewahrer der Morsetelegrafie. Auch die völkerverbindende Bedeutung des Amateurfunks war ihm stets ein besonderes Anliegen. Er hat sich sehr für den Erhalt der Telegrafie im Amateurfunk eingesetzt und auch bis in die letzte Zeit die QTC´s des DTC e.V. verfaßt und diese auch ausgesendet.
Wir werden ihn schmerzlich vermissen und nie vergessen.
Im Namen des DTC e.V. spreche ich seiner Familie unser aufrichtiges Beileid aus.

Our President Martin, DL5QE passed away January, 21st suddenly and unexpectedly.
He was one of the co-founders of the club. His commitment for the rights and concerns of ham radio was wellknown. Especially Martin's passionate love of telegraphy work made him a sympathetic radio man. His struggle against the use of PLT was highly appreciated by us. His constant helping hand, his special ham skills, and his universal education which he always shared with us, made him a pleasant guy.
Thus we'll never forget him and his DL5QE call sign. Our current thoughts and sorrow are with his relatives.
